Pre-School (Age 3 and Potty Trained)
Two classrooms: capacity of 12 children with two teachers, capacity of 15 with two teachers. Curriculum includes:
Bible- daily devotions, weekly Bible story and monthly chapel
Language- exposed to variety of literature, circle time discussion, rhyming words, finger plays, recognizing syllables, letter matching
Math- sorting, matching, puzzles, counting to 10, exposure to 1 to 1 correspondent, shapes, geometry skill with design and patterns
Science/sensory/STEM- sensory table, cooking, observation, classification and predictions, cause and effects, hands-on activities
Art- recognize colors, explore variety of tools and mediums with open-ended process art
Fine motor- strengthen scissor skills, develop and strengthen eye-hand coordination, manipulate various writing tools
Gross motor- throw, catch, and kickball, pedal tricycle, continue to develop running, jumping, climbing, pushing, kicking, walking up and down stairs. PE class three times a week and outdoor playground
Music- twice weekly music class exposing music styles, rhythm movement and various instruments in addition to classroom music interaction
